Stats comparison for reference

In 1995 (11 games): 14 interceptions and 10 fumbles (6 lost) for 2.2 turnovers per game
In 1996 (15 games): 13 interceptions and 9 fumbles (4 lost) for 1.46 turnovers per game

But, he did have a very high completion percentage, averaging .65 and .68 those years respectively and 8.93 and 9.84 yards per attempt.

Retzlaff is as follows:
2023 (4 games): 3 interceptions and 7 fumbles (3 lost) for 1.5 turnovers per game. Comp % was 50.4. YPA was 5.2
2024 (2 games): 2 interceptions and 2 fumbles (1 lost) for 1.5 turovers per game. Comp % is 60.3. YPA is 9.5.

So, in terms of turnovers, Sark was worse in 1995 and slightly better than Retzlaff in 1996. However, Sark was much better on offensive efficiency to cover up those issues.

On the bright side: Retzlaff has made improvement on his Comp % and YPA this season.
On the not bright side: Our competition isn't as good as the ones he faced last season.
