I thought the reasoning for an original switch to navy was for fan apparel. Its
Easier for people to wear navy every day over Royal and resulted in more sales and people showing support daily throughout the year.
Personally - I think keeping an occasional football game in navy is good enough but the Royal we have in all combos is phenomenal.

I'm the same. Royal is the best, but i'm not as down on navy as some. I do have some navy gear that I like
