I don’t know if rising will stay as good as he was pre injury or not. His play against SUU was good. He misplaced a few throws but most were still caught. They blew Suu Apart and it wasn’t a close game from the opening kickoff on. BYU won walking away but it was not game over before halftime. SIU was probably a little better than SUU but not that much better. Sanders had an amazing day and still almost lost to an FCS school. The bottom line is Retzlaff played a good game. He has some throws that need work. He had some awesome plays. Hopefully he progresses and plays lights out in Friday and brings home a win. Then some media members will start to take notice.

Comparing Retzlaff and rising throughout the season will be a losing endeavor most likely.
