is just outside Texas Hill Country. Where the best bbq in the country resides! Rudy's while not bad is not "good" but based on my last visit Rudy's is not a bbq restaurant I would choose to eat at if I was in TEXAS. It is a step above Dickies but when other options are so much better...
Would have been nice to pick a local all star location. Helbergs, DeMaria's, Jasper's Papa Jacks, 310 for an original feel of Waco. Rudy's is nothing special. I am probably asking too much but for $50 I want more than a Rudy's pulled pork sandwich...
I know bbq Texas was my region for several years. I have been all over Texas trying bbq. My director at the time lived in Austin and I would fly in early so we could try an extra different location. At the time I have been to all all of the Texas best. Looking forward to trying out the the new ones. I will be stopping at Interstellar this trip along with an old favorite Kreuz.
Lost opportunity and again Rudy's is unremarkable.
