Feel free to interpret my statement how ever you like, but I'm not saying that Rising is a future NFL star / MVP. His best accuracy numbers were ~63% and Young's final year at BYU decades ago was ~71%. So Rising clearly isn't on the same level in that area, to date.

What I was trying to say was that Rising's style of QB play is similar to Young's, at least in my opinion. Young was accurate and efficient and would scrap his way to extra yards by running when needed. He was creative. I've never thought of him as a pure pocket passer (a la Brady, Manning, etc.). At least that's how I remember him from what I saw of his play.
