In the wins, against average to terrible teams they did play good defense
In the losses against good teams, they gave up 21, 35, 35, and 42.
The BEST team Utah beat last year was 7-5.
You claimed the offense was a lot better in prior years and while that is true, they had a 73 point game against SOUTHERN UTAH in 2022, played USC twice in 2022 (laughable defense the last few years), and played Stanford in both years(52 & 42 pts), scored 63 against CU (LOL!). So there was some serious RUTS against bad teams going on in those years.
