I still think Baylor chose wrong in going with shapen. Bohanon has not done anything since then. It has been a while. Memories don’t last long in college football. Rising is very talented. He had a significant knee injury and a huge part of his game is running the ball with reckless abandon (see taysom hill) I find it hard to believe he will last the whole season just due to his style of play. I don’t want to see him injured though. If he stays healthy Utah has a shot this year to win the big 12. I would say there are 6 teams with heavy odds to win. Utah Oklahoma state Arizona Kansas Kansas state and Iowa state. It would not surprise me one bit if any of those teams win. Outside of that I don’t think many other teams will. Maybe ucf depending on their portal players learning the playbook and gelling well playing with so many new players.

Utah will go as cam rising goes in my opinion. Their defense is legit. Their running game is solid but not as good as it has been historically. Safeties are also unproven. They lost 2 safeties to the draft from last year. That is hard to replace.
