And I sadly expect that BYU will be very patient with him. Unless things completely fall apart this season (3-9 or worse) I think BYU is going to give him another year due to the difficulties of adapting to Big 12 play and injuries (which have started early this year).
I'm really struggling to get excited for this season though as I have pretty much zero hope that Kalani will be able to turn things around. It's simply about waiting until the BYU administration and/or big money boosters have had enough and want to try and fix things for the future. And they chose not to fix anything for 2024.
