...in youth flag football. My theory is that he will likely evolve into a different position later on, but he can learn more skills by playing QB in his youth than playing another position. When I was a kid, I remember alot of our good skill position players in high school were ex-QB's. Meaning, they were QB's in grade school and then became WR's / DB's , etc.
Also, my kid is massive. He is only 7 but weighs 105 pounds and is very tall. If it were up to coaches, he'd be playing lineman and would likely play line his whole life.
Does that make sense? Or what would you suggest given your experience?
