Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - a 2018 film directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman from a screenplay by Phil Lord and Rothman. The film's story follows Miles as he becomes the new Spider-Man and joins other Spider-People from various parallel universes who team up to save New York City from the Kingpin. It grossed $384M on a $90M budget.
It won Best Animated Feature Film at the 76th Golden Globe Awards and the same award at the 24th Critics' Choice Awards and the 91st Academy Awards, among several other awards and nominations. It was the first non-Disney or Pixar film to win Best Animated Feature since Rango (2011), becoming the 6th non-Disney/Pixar film to win the award.
Thor: Ragnarok - a 2017 film directed by Taika Waititi from a screenplay by Eric Pearson and the writing team of Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost. In Thor: Ragnarok, Thor must escape the alien planet Sakaar in time to save Asgard from Hela (Blanchett) and the impending Ragnarök. It grossed $865M on a budget of $180M.
