With the numbers of players that sit out, transfer, don’t really have their heart in it, etc. I mean, you guys lost to UAB with a team that really shouldn’t have lost to UAB. Utah won something like 10 straight bowl games. How much are we really going to put into those games?

Did you watch Utah last year? The QB situation was so bad that Utah could have lost to anyone. There’s a healthy discussion regarding why they were in that position, but that’s for another day. They also took that same QB into Seattle and almost beat a UW team that made the title game. Barnes was 6/19 for 71 yards against Baylor and they still won. How many teams are good enough to win with a QB performance like that?

I personally don’t think Utah rolls through undefeated. But your points have absolutely nothing to do with this years version of Utah.
