If you had a budget of about $10K to buy a car (college student would be the
primary driver), what would you be looking for?
Lots of Kias and Hyundais in that price range, but they're more expensive to insure and are a theft risk.
Nissans in that price range all fall within the years where they have massive transmission issues (enough that there were multiple class action lawsuits)
Toyotas and Hondas are either extremely high mileage cars under $10K, are in terrible shape, or have a salvage title.
What are some other options to look at.
