He wouldn't get poached off of last year,sure
Just like Kalani wasn't hired off the year prior dumpster fire defense he lead at Oregon State
But he could easily get a USU job based on what he did at Weber. Ogden, UT commuter school isn't an easy place to recruit to and win as consistently as Jay did. Remember when people said he was a pipe dream as a DC at BYU because his next stop would be a D1 coaching spot. He improved the defense and did so with a really bad roster. Last year didn't hurt him

I wouldn't say that our defense last year was above average however it was much better than the previous year. Also,
