I don’t think becoming bowl eligible each year is a great goal (short-term sure but long-term that is a weak goal). I would like to play a half decent P5 team most years. I don’t think that is a crazy expectation.

The one upside to Independence was scheduling a variety of tier 1 schools. I'll take P4 membership instead.
