The detailed intertwined stories were incredibly complex but entertaining. The story telling seemed pretty realistic as a lot of decisions characters made would end up getting them killed or hurt someone else. Things got too goofy in the end and all the characters were flanderized. Seasons 6-7 were clearly a step down but had some really good episodes mixed in. Season 8 was a travesty that should have never happened.
