I’m skeptical. It could a rise to #6 or #7, but I have a hard time seeing it
break into the Top 5 any time soon. I just don’t think the domestic fanbase is big enough or strong enough for that yet (or imminently). Maybe after all the soccer-hating older people in the US die off in a few decades. Most studies show that soccer is much more popular among the younger generations in the US.
