3.50 per literally is normal. It always fluctuates and during Trump's term it
Went abnormally low. That wasn't normal. Btw oil prices (which precedes gas price) was at it's lowest at the end of 2015 when Obama was president. Gas hit it's lowest price on February 15th of 2016 (1.72 iirc). Trump had been president less than a month.
I wish I could post a picture I have of a graph showing gas prices from 1977 through 2022. 3.50 per gallon is very average throughout those 4-5 decades.
