The cheap option before replacing it. It’s old and probably should be replaced soon.

Piece of cake. Turn off the breaker, open the box, discharge the capacitor with a screwdriver, unplug old, plug in new.

Sourcing the matching capacitor can be hard if it’s older. But watch YouTube

I got about 3 more years out of mine when I did this. Easy job like was stated.

easy, just be methodical and don't forget to discharge it safely. Then, get on

Super easy. 5-10 minutes tops. Just remember to take out the ac breaker

There are 2, one at compressor and one in attic , both easy
