would he leave as D coord of BYU and assistant head coach of a BIG12 program to be a head coach of a Mountain West program like Utah State? And, after only one year in the Big12?
Makes no sense to me. I think Jay Hill builds his resume much better and much faster by being where he is. IMO he takes a big risk leaving to coach a team like Utah State. Some re building needs to still happen there and if he is not basically winning the Mountain west for two or three years in a row he's not going to have the same opportunites he would have be building a dominant D at BYU in the BIG12, IMO.
