and everyone having to deal with them is that last season was an especially bad year for injuries at Utah. It wasn't a couple here or there. It was down to third or fourth string across several key skill positions and the lines got hit hard too. It was an anomaly for sure.
I love the "next man up" mentality that the Utah staff touts. But there does come a point where the next man up is way down the depth chart for a good reason.
We should have flipped the Oregon State game last year but other than that I think Utah did really well given the level of injuries that hit.
