Our first four drives of the game we didn’t run more than 3 plays a single drive
Then before the half we had a long 16 play drive which netted a field goal. We promptly gave up another TD and got the ball back for another 3 play drive at the end of the half.
The game was over by halftime.
First half possessions…
3 plays, -1 yard, Punt (returned for TD)
3 plays, 4 yards, Punt
3 plays, 10 yards, Interception
3 plays, -1 yard, Punt
16 plays, 64 yards, Field Goal
Some key defensive turnovers kept us from losing the first half by 30 points…but that game wasn’t competitive at all.
Our offense couldn’t move the ball and it was clear from the first possession.
