The FAA makes you register any drone over 250 g.. The Mini 3 is 248g.
Larger drones have a higher risk of damaging people and property.
Larger drones will bring you unwanted attention. They make LOTS more noise.
Larger drones are harder to pack/travel... not to mention carry around with you.
2.7K video at 60fps is more than most people need. The mini 3 can do 4k at up to 30fps, but 2.7k @ 60fps and the correct shutter speed will give you a cinematic look that will blow people away. (aka... learn how to shoot drone footage)
