Appreciate the serious reply. & I get "feeling" abit eye-rollish if I was owner
But when you consider it only takes one time for a wandering dog(no owner/leash present), to do worse than "poop or pee" on new sod(EG bite someone). Combined that the neighbor was fully in their right to provide no notification and contact AC for pickup instead...I, as the dog owner, would be nothing but apologetic, gracious and thankful to the neighbor(even if it was the very first time).

I'm just truly surprised so many CBers(whom I'm sure are otherwise great people and even probably neighbors), would be anything but gracious and appreciative of the text described in the OP.

We have multiple (more than 2) dogs and I feel this way if one of ours was out wandering the neighborhood/next door...
