Rosey is correct. There will also always be examples of members who don’t live those values. However, if you live the values espoused by the Church & taught from a young age, you’ll have a great foundation to be successful. Now, I don’t define success by bank accounts alone but yes that’s generally true.
Look at how the business school is ranked and the reasons given by business executives around the world on what makes them rank BYU #1 in preparing grads for a career. It’s in good measure due to values. Neither man graduated from BYU much less the business school but those values come through the Church very heavily for those paying attention & doing their best to live them.
