BYU is a wonderful institution ….does not mean every player has to be LDS ….there does not need to be a quota …..or a percentage ….or at least one in the starting five ……just bring the players and let them compete. I don’t care who they are …..what they look like….. as long as they can play basketball, …….Im quite confident that the coaches will try to bring high character people

Another thought, although not necessary, this could also be a great missionary opportunity….missionaries are wonderful… will do everything in my power to help facilitate all of my sons serving a mission…..a roster completely filled with RMs may not be the best recipe to advance in the Tourney…Sweet Sixteen and beyond

LDS kids and Top LDS kids will always be a strong part of BYU basketball….lets not count or have a percentage

This staff will not discriminate against top LDS kids…. They are an asset…. Proven leadership qualities and mental toughness round out a roster and locker room

Ty Detmer, Jeff Chatman, Tom Holmoe and Andy Reid were not members….the wonderful BYU experience changed their lives forever….these wonderful non-members changed BYU Forever

And most of you probably do not realize that Jim McMahon was not a member jk
