OP could have read the Amazon return policy and sealed up the box the fan came in. He didn’t have to buy it at the UPS Store. It’s much cheaper at Home Depot or Walmart. But he couldn’t read and follow directions. But he didn’t. Then he left the mess for someone else. Sure, it’s not that big of a deal to throw it in the garbage. But the concept is that the OP was a jerk and then complained here that he was getting nickel and dimed.
