this program. Pope is good, but I don't see the bar he set (with some pretty mediocre results in the WCC along with the 5th place in Big12) as being some sort of difficult challenge for KY or anybody else. Pope's idea to go young in 22-23 paid off in 23-24, and his offensive philosophy maximized the moderate talent we had. So all that is to be commended. But with the way the program is operating now under KY, there's no reason why we shouldn't expect an improvement overall in this program's future fortunes.
