His established upperclassmen, anyway (his team leaders). Against Duquesne, though, we needed guys to step up & beat guys who had clear athletic & size edges. Noah could do that against slower 4s & 5s, but explosive wings & PFs had little respect for him. As for Richie — he could outwork some athletic 4s, but not all. Particularly ones who were tasked to be physical w him. (And this was particularly tough in the Duquesne game w the refs letting everything go. Richie got mugged at times in ways that woulda riled up a Big12 ref.)
