They were the more athletic team. Position-wise they were clearly the more balanced team in that matchup as well. I think if Atiki had been able to suit up & had Khalifa played closer to his usual level of banged-up — things woulda gone certainly better for us.
Man-for-man, though — they still woulda been a tough match for us even if we'd played healthy, I think. They did a good job getting out on our shooters.
The refs calling that game so comically loose definitely favored their ability to stop us from scoring too. So I could see that as a factor in not allowing our skill "talent" to show as much as we'd come to expect.
