We were a level more toothless than our usual toothlessness in the paint.
Duquesne's PF killed us as a help defender, & Noah & Richie couldn't make him pay for it. Our coaches tried, but those two players didn't step up & get it done. Fouss took a lot of blame for looking bad that night (& he didn't play great, admittedly) — but the poor performance by Richie & Noah was just as big, if not bigger. Duquesne's PF entirely stopped Richie from getting to the rim, & Noah just didn't give us any edgy game on offense. (Did he do that for us once after the Kansas game?)
