"This year they figure to get improved QB play and have eight (offensive) starters back once again...(defensively) six starters are back including four of the top six tacklers so they do figure to have improved numbers but also face some tough offenses, so might not move up much statistically."
"BYU was probably not as good as their record last year. Last year they lost their QB and no. 1 tackler mid-year and figure to be more stable this season especially with 14 starters back. Despite just missing out on a bowl last year, only one of my nine sets of power ratings calls for a bowl and this may be the second year of adding talent and depth to compete in a P4 conference."
