I agree. I’m irritated at what appears, at least to many of us die hard fans,
To be a lackadaisical approach to game prep unless it’s a big marquee game on the schedule like the Wisconsin, Michigan State wins, and retaining poorly performing assistants, and possibly mediocre efforts in recruiting and player development.
But all that being said, BYUs style is also to give a strong benefit of the doubt in the case of a coach like Kalani. Only a total dumpster fire would result in him being fired. He’s going to be given more time to adjust to the Big 12, money to get better QBs, and maybe even other key pieces. Then if we are still not competing with the top 1/3 of the conference… yes then I’d say BYU will finally move on to someone else.
