you can. Expect these guys to be 1 year and gone. You will need to recruit these types every single year. Then you will need some future fringe league/european league players as glue guys. These guys need to be dogs, and to compete year in and year out you will need to keep these guys around for their college careers.

Two examples of the current situation is Coach Cal and Coach K. Cal always went heavy on the 1 and done freshman and didn't really keep the glue guys around. His teams would struggle some years and underperform. Guys made the league sure. Thats great. Duke seemed to always pull a couple of the top freshman as well but coach K always seemed to keep a few guys 4 years as a veteran presence. Sure the underperformed some years as well but I would say Duke was a little more successful in staying at the top. I think the glue guys make all the difference. Problem is keeping those glue guys in the NIL era is getting tougher and tougher.
