This is me everyday in my neighborhood 4-ways near a bike trail. We have trails
One end of a major bike trail is two blocks from us and there are frequent issues.

Meanwhile, preteens on E-bikes are all over the place, including at major multi-land intersections with stoplights. We’ve had five serious — overnight hospital stay accidents — of 10-14 yo kids in our neighborhood on those E bikes — slightly different situation but same “I’m a car” / “nah I’m a sidewalk pedestrian” / “nah, rules don’t apply” as all the road bikes getting on the trail near us.

Kid in our ward got 15 stitches (less serious) after getting hit running red light and then was out riding with no helmet the next day. SMH.

I love the “I’m waving my hand” motion — like, “everyone should stop and let me/us through” as you approach a 4-way with two stoped cars. Happened to me this week with a group of about 15 older riders, which is what I have in mind.

That’s not the Idaho rule at all but “I’m above the rules — everyone stops and waits for me.”
