The only issue I had was with The independence schedule being tougher than the MWC schedule. It was, but BYU's financial commitment, budget, was more WAC level, and that was reflected in the coaches salaries, hires, staff, etc. BYU has had only 1 full-time recruiting staff during Independence and that didn't change until BIG12 money came in last year. Look at Kalani's first staff, Reno Mahe, never had coached, Cahoon, been out of coaching, which is both where they are now after their coaching stints.
