The pac12 MAY have been perceived as a strong conference when utah joined, but Sagarin still had their SOS ranked in the 40s their first two years ... not exactly a killer schedule. I expect our schedule this year, while not quite as hard as #11, will still be ranked higher than the 40s. While the top of the pac 12 has had some very good teams, the bottom has been fairly pathetic which benefitted utah's overall record.

Also, I'm not arguing that we won't be competitive in the Big 12 earlier at all. IMO, we very well could be in a bowl game this year. I'm thinking 6-7 wins are realistic despite what Fanduel thinks. I'm just saying that we should be realistic and not expect more than 7 wins like Frank does above when he wrote "7 wins or less to me is sub-par". That is ridiculous IMO.
