There is a decent amount of 4 star lds qbs and TE. Those positions need to be

But expecting a 4 star QB to sign with BYU every year is unrealistic

Exactly. When 4-star QBs are scarce - let's be honest - they're more likely to choose a big time program.

Every year sure but we should get more than 3 in 24 years

There’s about 25 4/5 every year. The blue bloods will take 1 or 2

Utah is not a blue blood and they run circles around us in recruiting QBs

And how many of them have turned out? The knock on Utah is they are always a decently average QB away from being a

Cam Rising is better than any of our QBs

And before Cam, we had two 3 star qbs get drafted while their 4 star guys

That's not true at all. Jaren Hall had 2 offers- from Utah and BYU.

That’s only because of rating inflation

There were 3 high rated LDS or Utah QBs in the 2024 class alone

Technically only 2 according to 247, which is the preferred site (Hammond & Wilson).

Unfortunately we did ourselves no favors in Hammond’s recruitment

I'll again say that talking about 3 stars is meaningless

May 12, 12:35pm
Yes, that is a big distinction to make and a very fair point in 247s ranting scheme

It is easy to point fingers, the truth of it is I have no idea what is going on behind the scenes nor the limitations

Losing Dart sucks. We wanted him bad and he was a Utah QB. TE we’ve been doing great the last three classes if we hold

Not for 4 star QBs. Maybe for other positions. Maybe the Defense has budget.
