Virginia and BYU are also in the same recruiting level. Kentucky is not. Look at
the transfer they got today. A guy BYU (when pope was here) contacted and had no chance to land. Pope moves and he commits. Osobor from Utah State is rumored to go there. BYU had no shot with him. BYU is only hurt now because
1. Pope has some connections with players
2. He really needs to fill a depleted roster
Yes losing Chandler hurts, but there is a reason he was the highest rated recruit in BYU history. Not even top 50 at Kentucky. His type don't ever come to BYU. Pope isn't going to last long if he is dipping into the players BYU can get.
