She moved in with us to avoid all of the agitation with her husband that became progressively worse. They lived close enough she would spend the day at her house with him, they would eat dinner at our house and she’d stay the night.

Easter morning 2020 we found my FIL passed away and soon thereafter had to admit my MIL to a memory care center. She passed away last year. It was a horrible thing to see the downward spiral she went through and the pain my wife felt. There are bright and tender moments. The biggest regret we have is not recording as much historical information she could recall immediately after knowing what was going on.
