I’d add that if you haven’t booked accommodations, the Waldorf Astoria in
Versailles is pretty nice and not all that expensive. Similar price to a three star hotel in the city. It Has a view of the palace and can be a nice change of pace for a night.
It’s also on Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts so you can get some added perks if you have an Amex card.
