and start looking at the legal system.
This 14 day window is the perfect example. NCAA makes a rule that players who transfer twice have to sit out. The legal system gets involved and orders a restraining order, allowing players to play for the 14 day period. Now the NCAA says players will burn a year of eligibility and, if the court rules in favor of their rule, players will have burned a year of eligibility just to play for 14 days. The legal system will get involved with this. They'll mandate a preliminary injunction which will extend the restraining order till the end of the season.
It's obvious that the NCAA doesn't know how to lead. Instead of listening to their stupid rules/threats, talk with the lawyers in Ohio and ask them if they think a preliminary injunction is likely. If it is, then play Adams, knowing he'll be able to play all year.
