Main job for a head coach is bringing in the best talent you can get in
Coaches and players. If he can consistently do that then he's worth having the HC title. There are other things they do as well ( dealing w/media, final calls, etc) but a HC has to bring in good talent. It's the first and last thing they should be thinking about
