Our ward building is ~40 years old. 15 years ago the stake decided to replace
the maroon carpets and pew upholstery. The carpets were replaced with blue carpets but the upholstery is still maroon.
Every couple of years the the stake requests replacement of the upholstery to match the carpet. The response from Facilities is "it's not in bad enough condition and the money is needed elsewhere." So we have red seats and blue floors.

How much could new turf possibly cost? Get a local sod farmer to donate the turf and give them free publicity at LES!
