prince of a guy (early 70's). Didn't follow college sports much last 15 years due to busyness with church callings, podiatry practice, and family. All he followed were sports scores, would give me a good natured "go Utes" once in awhile and congratulate me on nice BYU wins.

We were driving to golf once and he sincerely asked why I held such disdain for Utah football and fans when I'm rational on most other things. I pivoted and told him the only chunk in his impeccable armor is retaining his Utah fanhood after how ugly many Ute fans had gotten toward both BYU and the church. He paused, and asked "like what"? I shared multiple experiences others and myself had at times combined with the vulgar chants, Moroni beer chugs, and Sacrament jello shots with the trays painted in red and black with Ute logo on the side.
