UoU sells itself largely as everything BYU is not. 1. City school; 2. Secular; 3. Social freedom; 4. Normal university experience; 5. P5 (yes, this has changed, thankfully — but the other 4 are also very significant — & the last 12 years has created a gap that isn't gonna go away overnight).
