No offense but if what you are saying is true that isn't fair to him, the team,

the backup...etc.

You play the guy who gives you the best chance to win. That is not Etienne. He has been extremely bad.

I don't need a whipping boy, but I do need competent play. He has cost this team many times over. His poor blocking has hurt Aidan Robbins chances at the NFL.

If I am on the team and see a guy play because he has potential instead of a guy who is much better now then I am extremely upset.

And poor Etienne. They keep putting him out there and he keeps getting embarrassed. I have no doubt he is trying, but he isn't ready.
