other competition on the course? What is the difference really other than other teams are not playing that day. If I understand it properly they wouldn't be playing with players of other teams day one anyway. So what is the hang up? I can imagine plenty of pro golfers would jump at the chance of being alone on a course vs having to look up at the leaderboard and fret about who is ahead and who is behind. Just focus on the game.

In my opinion if there are issues with this that cause BYU golf to struggle, I suggest they figure out a way to turn playing Thursday alone into an advantage. Maybe the coach has to figure that out.
