He is still on his mission and he applied again and this time he was accepted. You're daughter can still get in, either go to UVU for a semester or go on a mission.

And BTW... I know what the devastation looks like when your kid doesn't get into the school they want. My younger son wanted to get into Texas A&M so bad... he worked so hard to get it, but in the end he didn't. I remember when he got the email, we were driving around he just lost it emotionally... was really hard to watch, considering all the work he put into it. He decided to go the A&M system college route... but he now loves it so much at the school he is at, that he is considering staying there instead of going to A&M next year.
