Ahh, the annual Texas winter tradition. A max of ~0.3 inches of winter storm
accumulation is forecast over the next 48 hours in DFW, and the entire 8 million strong metroplex is pre-emptively shutting down.

In fairness, these ice storms can be uniquely nasty. But I still find it a little ironic when I remember some of the weather we'd deal with on an average Jan-Feb day in Utah growing up.
