BYU is Utah's rival. CU could've been. Utah's problem is they're a newcomer
to the field that lacks the history, money, traditional brand...but have been outplaying their peers.
Utah's a tier 3-4 program playing consistently at the same level of a high level tier 2 program.
Not fit to be a rival for a USC or an Oregon...but if you look at Utah's record vs. normal peer group...BYU, CU, AZ, Oregon State, WSU, UCLA, MW schools...it's near dominant.
Even ASU has really struggled vs. Utah.
